About Lauren
This practice is a lifelong journey that calls to my heart and soul. It has helped me come into deeper awareness with my self and live more intentionally. I have become more aware of the present moment and developed a greater sense of gratitude. My yoga practice has eased the transitions of my many moves and the fluctuations of life. It is my anchor, a steady touchstone that helps center, ground, and comfort me when I find myself in a new location or a new chapter of life.
In my classes, you can find a blend of music, mantra, meditation, poetry, breath and spiritual inspiration with accessible, safe and mindful alignment based movement. I encourage students to tap into their inner wisdom, listen to the whispers of their heart, deeply relax into the practice and revel in the sacred time they have dedicated for themselves. I believe that yoga is a fusion of the heart, spirit, mind and body. I hope to convey my love of the practice to everyone who participates in my classes.

Kids yoga is a fun way for kids to move their bodies, learn more about their emotions, learn coping skills for these emotions, connect with their peers, and practice relaxation techniques. In a modern age where kids are having to navigate more things at an earlier age, this is a priceless experience to help their emotional and mental growth and physical and social development!

We talk about about my healing journey and how I got back into yoga. The conversation flows into the style of yoga that I teach, Bhakti yoga, the yoga of love and devotion.
